It's no secret that small businesses are the pulse of today's economy. In Brooklyn, small businesses account for 70% of all businesses in the borough. As attention continuously increases South of Manhattan, so does the competition. Standing out is not an option. It's essential. It's also easier said than done. Brooklyn Marketing Week (BKMW) was designed to help local businesses sharpen their toolkit.
We're bringing the experts to the entrepreneurs, regardless of the industry. Cause it's time to work on the business, not in the business.
Starting Friday, October 20th until Sunday, October 22nd, 2017, entrepreneurs will speak with experienced founders, walk through the to-dos of pitching, selling, promoting, branding, strategizing and marketing and break bread with some of the best bloggers, and influencers from the worlds of Food, Fashion, Beauty, Hair, Travel and e-Commerce.
The workshops will take place at the iconic clock tower building known as BKLYN Commons, located at 495 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11225.
Tickets for the event are available at via below link and cost $30.00 for a daily pass or $55.00 for a full weekend pass. “We want small businesses to understand that it doesn't always take big budgets to make an impression,” explains Tiffany Ashitey, co-founder along with Tasha Morris, of Benchmark Creative Group and Brooklyn Marketing Week, “For many, marketing has become so sophisticated that it's seen as a burden rather than a benefit. Folks know they need it, but they're overwhelmed on where to begin.
Our goal is to change that perception and encourage people to work on your business, not just in your business.”
