Join us for some beer and snacks as we discuss the fundraising process for international developers and entrepreneurs. New York has one of the highest ratios of foreign developers and entrepreneurs. We’ll delve deeper into the ways you can navigate the fundraising process as an international entrepreneur, considering other key elements such as proper work visas, incorporation and how this affects the fundraising process for your tech startup. Stereotheque is partnering with DevWeek, one of the largest conferences and festivals in technology, to bring you a great panel on entrepreneurship, immigration, and fundraising.

SPEAKERS:

Alicia Syrett: Founder & CEO at Pantegrion Capital LLC, an angel investment vehicle focused on seed and early stage investments. She is a recurring panelist on CNBC’s Power Pitch and MSNBC’s Your Business, a Contributor for Inc. magazine, an Instructor for Steve Blank’s Lean Launchpad course at Columbia University, and tweets @AliciaSyrett.

Carmen Feliciano: Carmen Feliciano is a Principal at AMDG. She is a venture advisor and investor focused on connecting US and emerging markets with start-up eco-system players.

Rohan Deuskar: Creator of the first automated visual merchandizing and outfit styling platform, the largest virtual closet platform for web and mobile, the popular Daily Outfit Inspiration email, several real-time trend analysis platforms, and 15+ other fun and useful products in web and mobile over 10 years. Frequent speaker on the future of technology and analytics in fashion retail, including Databeat, New York Fashion Week, Decoded Fashion, and FIT.

Sarah Schroeder: Sarah has extensive experience handling a broad spectrum of business immigration matters, specializing in complex immigration issues, including visa petitions requiring knowledge of complex corporate business structures and visas for investors and entrepreneurs (including E nonimmigrant visas and EB-5 petitions). Sarah’s experience includes preparing all types of temporary and short-term work visas for corporate, tech startups, fashion and arts companies including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, R-1, J-1, H-3, E-1, E-2, E-3, B-1 in lieu of H-1B, H-1B1.
