Our flight will depart on Friday morning, before noon. If you are doing land only, please be at San Francisco airport by noon at the latest. From here, we will drive directly to Napa Valley area for lunch and our first winery!
We will visit the oldest grocery store in Napa to pick up lunch to eat outside at our first winery. We will make sure to stop and take photos in front of the iconic Napa sign. For the remainder to the day enjoy, relax, and sip wine while our private driver takes us through the Napa Valley region. In the early evening we will arrive at our private house in the town of Calistago.

After breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning, we'll head out to visit, taste, and tour fantastic wineries. With over 400 wineries in Napa Valley, it can be hard to choose! Our wineries on our trip will be a mix of famous and old, family owned, picnic vistas, and even a 13th century winery. If time permits on each day, we will visit more wineries in the area and tastings would cost extra.

In between our wine visits, we'll also explore the quaint towns of St. Helena and Calistago. Each town has its own individual charm. Explore their contemporary art galleries, chic boutiques, quaint cafes, and cellar tasting rooms. Calistago town is known for their spa and mud baths! On Sunday mid-afternoon you'll have time to sign up and try a treatment of your choosing. An authentic mud bath- take this experience in!
We will also go on a short walk through the Petrified Forest. It will be like stepping through time, over 3 million years ago, as we follow the trail of majestic petrified redwood giant trees.

On Monday morning we'll start our drive back to San Francisco, stopping at a food market in Napa for a bite to eat. Group members departing on this day will be taken to the airport for their afternoon flight home. Others continuing their journey on the 2-day extension will transfer to our San Francisco hotel. In the early evening we'll venture to the Golden Gate Bridge and walk across it and get views of the sunset on the way back. The Golden Gate Bridge is thought to be one of the most beautiful bridges in the world, and the opportunity to walk across at least part of it should not be missed. The bridge spans 1.7 miles, but we will most likely walk to the first tower and back again. This will be a great photo opportunity! Optional drinks and dinner will be organized.

On Tuesday after breakfast we'll have our own private tour of Chinatown and North Beach area. Some of our highlights of our 2-3hr tour are:
-Grab a coup of the best coffee in San Francisco
-Be shocked with some of the amazing inventions you would never guess have come out of this city
-Visit a saloon from 1861 (the oldest bar in SF)
-Learn about the Beat Generation, or Beatniks as they were more commonly known.
-See the red light district
-Hear the truth behind Marilyn Monroes famous wedding photos
-Wander the streets of Little Italy
-Discover how North Beach got its name
-Do a tea tasting in one of Chinatowns best tea houses.

For the remaining afternoon, you can explore SF at your leisure. Below are some suggestions:
-Architecture Walking Tour
-Food Tour
-Guided/self-guided walk of Union Sq, Fisherman's Wharf, Downtown, Barbary Coast, or Nob Hill areas
