Regional Field Marketer

 

Indigo improves grower profitability, environmental sustainability, and consumer health through the use of natural microbiology and digital technologies. Responsibilities:

 

Fully integrate into two regional teams and be seen as the marketing and events point person with inspired confidence

  • Meet each Account Manager in relevant regions in person

 

Understand and map current marketing programs and sales plays in your region to analyze strengths and opportunities

  • Work with strategy team to analyze your territory’s funnel and understand marketing needs to support quota achievement

Grasp the downstream implications of generated leads and how they convert to opportunities and customers to improve strategy

 

Serve as the air traffic controller for your regions between marketing and sales, helping execute regionalized versions of national campaigns

  • Serve as the marketing go-to for the regional field teams to coordinate and weave together local and national marketing efforts, made effective for your region

 

Work with the marketing team to develop a regional marketing and events strategy that is relevant compared to other competitive offerings

  • Identify list of local event opportunities, elevate them and help staff those
  • Take full ownership of the execution of regional events with account management team

 

Identify opportunities for improvement in the handoff between marketing and sales to best nurture, activate and retain leads and customers

 

Build out a two-way process for information sharing and reporting on progress and learnings with corporate headquarters

  • Demonstrate month over month progress in marketing performance in your region

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of field marketing experience
  • Experience in organizing & hosting large and small events
  • Experience in developing and executing upon an invite list
  • Experience project managing many events and projects simultaneously
  • Experience with local and/or field marketing tactics including the sourcing of regional/local sponsorship opportunities  
  • Experience working with event planning related vendors, e.g. catering, restaurants, venues
  • Experience translating corporate marketing to field marketing tactics
  • Event planning certification, preferred
  • Ag experience, preferred
  • Salesforce experience, preferred
