Solutions Consulting Enablement-Partner Specialist



Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Work with our Partners sales opportunities by providing the same SC effort we would on any other opportunity
  • Reinforce the value of BlackLine by providing demonstrations to Partners
  • Help Partners understand the positioning of BlackLine in their client base
  • Help Partners understand how to identify BlackLine opportunities within their client base
  • Support Partners through webinars, on-site training presentations and trials.
  • Support the Marketing team by attendance at client/prospect roundtables, conferences, and other events to provide coverage, education, and application expertise
  • Document relevant activities in Salesforce and other Sales/Marketing tools as assigned
  • Develop and deliver training for new Solutions Consultants
  • Provide honest, constructive feedback during training sessions
  • Develop and maintain ongoing training activities for Solutions Consulting team
  • Individually mentor new and existing Solutions Consultants
  • Provide updates, training and enablement on new releases
  • Assist with the development of ROI presentation tools and methodologies
  • Review ROI Analysis for prospective clients
  • Liaison for Implementation Services, Customer Success and Sales Operations
  • Provide training on new Accounting standards
  • Maintain Solutions Consulting Confluence Home Page
  • Support the Sales team through answering prospect technical, software and accounting questions
  • Perform “needs analysis calls” on prospective clients to ensure BlackLine understands their challenges thoroughly and accurately
  • Deliver relevant and pertinent demonstrations of all BlackLine modules based on prospect needs
  • Assist with review of requests for proposal and information (RFPs and RFIs)
  • Provide and review BlackLine best practices, use case scenarios and prospective client stories both internally and externally (including community) to assist prospective clients with expanded use of application functionality
  • Prepare and deliver effective custom demonstrations using prospect data
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures as they are developed, revised, and communicated
  • Observe and practice confidentiality regarding company information as appropriate
  • Demonstrate integrity, trustworthiness and good judgment
  • Preserve positive relationships with clients, teammates, prospects, and business partner

  • Experience creating and delivering compelling presentations
  • Strong ability to demonstrate and persuade using influencing skills and relating to prospective customers in a consultative manner
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and trust with prospects/clients
  • Proven ability to understand and address prospective client objections
  • Strong ability to match product functionality to the prospects’ business needs
  • Demonstrate integrity, trustworthiness and good judgment
  • Previous enterprise level experience as a Solutions Consultant
  • Previous work experience in a corporate accounting function
  • Prior experience with financial software, a plus
  • Previous experience with learning management systems and approaches a plus
  • Previous experience with Demo2Win
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • Travel up to 50%- may be required to participate in on-site demonstrations, Sales and Marketing trade shows, conferences, and other events as assigned
